How we research
Tool Drip is an editorial catalog for comparing exact models. These standards explain what inclusion, specifications and platform labels mean.
Exact identifiers, original explanations
We start with the manufacturer’s product page, specification sheet or application catalog. Where the manufacturer supplies an exact model or part number, the full code and package suffix identify a record; a retailer’s search title does not replace that evidence. We summarize the details in our own words and link to the original reference.
Guides explain buying decisions and tradeoffs. Manufacturer-published specifications remain manufacturer claims, not measurements from an independent product test. We do not turn catalog inclusion into a star rating or a claim that we bought or tested the item.
Platforms and packages stay distinct
A tool-only model and its kit stay separate when their model codes or included items differ. Battery capacity, number of packs, charger and accessory connection are separate details. Similar brand or voltage labels do not establish a shared battery interface.
Related models use the documented platform or power option. A category match does not establish interchangeable accessories, equal performance or suitability for every job.
A curated selection with visible limits
The current catalog has 134 records across 19 categories. We prioritize useful model distinctions and documented references rather than claiming complete market coverage. A brand’s larger presence reflects the available research, not a quality ranking or paid placement.
Coverage ranges from powered platforms to hand tools and workshop equipment. Use the job, existing batteries and required connections to narrow a shortlist before checking the exact package.
Artwork and shopping links
Real photographs in category groups and product cards illustrate types of work and equipment. They do not identify the listed catalog model, establish fit or prove package contents. Each product-card image is labeled as a category example. Follow the manufacturer reference to inspect the actual item and its current package.
Manufacturer links are sources. Retailer search links are places to continue your search; they are not verified offers or availability checks. The current links have no affiliate tracking identifiers. There is no live pricing, stock feed, paid ranking or alert subscription in this build.
Photography sources and licensesArtwork and font license noticesSources can change; corrections are welcome
A manufacturer can revise a specification, retire a page or change an application listing. Recheck the linked current reference before ordering. A guide’s update date describes its editorial revision, not a promise that every linked specification remains current.
For a correction, include the full tool or kit code and package detail, the affected page and a current manufacturer reference. We can then review the claim against the source.
