Choose the bit, base and power setup together.
Fixed-base packages, optional bases and supported accessories stay separate from the battery decision.
Start with the intended cut
Record the material, bit and supported operation, then check cutter size and speed against the router instructions. A 1/4 in collet does not establish that every 1/4 in shank cutter is suitable.
Read the base and package list
The Bosch GKF18V-25N and corded GKF125CEK records supply fixed bases. Their listed optional plunge bases are separate accessories. Keep the exact base and guide models with the tool rather than treating a shared family name as full interchangeability.
Use the actual power context
The new router records span Bosch 18V, corded AC, RYOBI ONE+ and RIDGID 18V. Choose a documented supported setup, then check guides, dust hoods and any hose adapter. No cut-quality or runtime winner is inferred from those configurations.
